PatchDoc is a local-first document utility for opening, editing, previewing, extracting, and managing files on iOS.

Information Processed
- Documents and file contents are primarily read, edited, previewed, and saved locally on your device.
- Recent file records may store file names, types, sizes, modification dates, last-opened dates, and system-provided access credentials on device.
- Files imported into My Space, app working copies, and extracted archive contents are stored in the app sandbox until you delete them.
- Trial and membership status are handled with local app state and Apple StoreKit purchase records.
- If you email support, the information you choose to send is used only for support and troubleshooting.
How Information Is Used
- To open, edit, preview, save, export, and manage your local files.
- To show recent files and help reopen files you previously authorized.
- To manage My Space folders, imports, created files, and extracted archive contents.
- To provide trial access, lifetime membership, purchase, and restore-purchase features.
- To respond to support requests you initiate.
What PatchDoc Does Not Do
- PatchDoc does not intentionally upload your document contents to a developer server for storage, analytics, or training.
- PatchDoc does not sell your personal information or document contents.
- PatchDoc does not directly collect payment card numbers or payment passwords. Purchases are handled by Apple.
